Arnold Schwarzenegger Says He Will Be In ‘Terminator 6’ When It Starts Filming In 2016

While this summer’s Terminator Genisys, is the start of a brand new film trilogy that features Schwarzenegger as an aged version of his famed T-800 character, many have wondered if this will be the man’s last hurrah in the role. However, a new report seems to paint a different picture.

“Yes, of course, next year”, Arnold responded to our question on if he’d also be filming Terminator 6! It’s already been reported that two more films are planned to follow Genisys but no one really knew if Arnold would play a role in the future sequels. Now we know Arnold will BE BACK!It’s uncertain if Arnold’s cyborg T-800(s) get terminated at the end of Genisys but even IF it does, they’ll always find a good reason or excuse to bring in an all new model. Terminator 6 and Terminator 7 are currently slated to film back-to-back in order to release in 2017 and 2018, respectively. In addition, the franchise will also expand into a planned television series that, while in development, has yet to find an airing network to call home.
