‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Continues To Be Mashed Up With ‘Calvin And Hobbes’ And We Love It

SPOILERS AHEAD.

Last month, we shared adorable fan art which set the characters of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the world of Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. Then we rejoiced when Marvel Comics and Disney Animation Studios artist Brian Kesinger created even more of these mashups.

Kesinger is still at it, and the newest batch of mashups are no less cute and funny than the last. Calling the “Starkiller base” tree fort a part of “Kylo’s secret order of G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid Of Slimy resiStance)” was a perfect addition to this series.

Combining that troubled kid Ben with Calvin just works. They’re both stubborn, they both drive their parents nuts, they both have a big vision for the galaxy, they both have a skinny orange friend (shout out to Hux), and they can both do plenty of damage.

Here are the newest comics, with the first one delightfully reminding us of the hilariously macabre scenes Calvin crafted with snowmen.

You can see more of Brian Kesinger’s art on his Instagram and his Etsy store.
