Justin Bieber Is Unfortunately Now Free After A Temporary Detainment At LAX

Justin Bieber, seen above wearing a sweet Gilligan-style baby bonnet, was detained at the Los Angeles airport yesterday and questioned by U.S. Customs for four hours following a Singapore flight from Tokyo. He was finally released around 6:20p.m. yesterday evening accompanied by four bodyguards. E! News reported on the incident:

An airport spokesperson had no additional information on what the issue was today. U.S. Customs and Border Protection tells E! News that the agency cannot comment on an individual’s processing due to privacy laws, “our CBP officers are charged with enforcing not only immigration and customs laws, but they also enforce over 400 laws for 40 other agencies and have stopped thousands of violators of U.S. law.”

Bieber tweeted a photo of himself following his release:

Sure, all smiles now. I can only imagine the can of petulant Biebertude he opened on those U.S. Customs officials, though, since we all know how much Bieber enjoys being questioned. That must have been physically painful for those customs officials to let him go. It’s like catching the great white shark and then the great white shark turns out to be a mentally challenged guppy who gives you the finger and then swags off with his bros.
