This Cover Of Adele’s ‘Hello’ Set In The ‘Star Wars’ Universe Combines Everything The Internet Is Into Right Now

You want to know what it would look like if a trending topics list gained sentience? What kind of #content is Skynet going to make when it gets a handle on SEO? Look no further than this Star Wars cover of Adele‘s “Hello” by British singer Alex Boye.

While there isn’t much Star Wars in the video, Boye bothered to pay for a full Stormtrooper suit, drive out to the desert and insert some lightsaber practice into the production, so we’ll give it to him. (He’s done this before with huge hits like Frozen and The Lion King as well.) Probably, it’s most important to mention that Boye absolutely murders the song.

He’s far from the only one suffering from cases of Adele and Star Wars-mania (though he might be the first to combine the two). Spotify is currently taking users’ listening habits and matching them to Star Wars characters. There’s no word on who’s the biggest Adele fan in that galaxy far, far away, but my money is on Emperor Palpatine.

As for Adele reworkings, they’ve become a nearly daily occurrence. Iconic movie characters, the Muppets and the Cleveland Browns have all put their own spin on the unstoppable mega-hit off Adele’s even huger new album.
