Selena Gomez Can Hardly Withstand This 12-Year-Old’s Slick Pick Up Lines

Game knows no age and this 12-year-old hitting on Selena Gomez is proof. British tween Max offered his best pick-up line to Gomez when she appeared on BBC Radio 1 and got quite the reaction from the “Come And Get It” singer.

First, the line: “Is your name Google? Because you have everything I’m searching for.”

The attempt at a pickup from someone who probably still has a juice ring around their mouth on occasion shocked Gomez, who called the line “impressive” and added that it “got her attention.” Unfortunately for Max, age is a hell of a lot more than just a number in this situation.

“The ‘turning 18’ part may need to be a crucial part in me pursuing [a relationship],” Gomez said before warning other 12-year-olds that Max is out there. “He’s coming for you.”

After hearing a few more lines, Gomez explained the gentle technique she uses to get out of being chatted up.

“I would say ‘My best friend is waiting for me. That was so sweet. I’ll be right back,'” Gomez said. “Is that gentle? Maybe that’s harsh.”

Folks who have been turned down by Selena Gomez can always go for the next best thing: this guy who kills his shot-for-shot remake of “Good For You.”
