Juicy J And Gucci Mane Try To Prove Who’s More Ruthless On Their New Collab Track, ‘Trap’

Juicy J’s been releasing a steady stream of new material in recent months and the trend won’t be ending anytime soon. His new album, which went through a name change from THC: The Hustle Continues to Rubba Band Business: The Album, still doesn’t have a set release date. But, does that really matter at the moment since the Juiceman just announced a new mixtape titled Must Be Nice, set to release next Monday, September 19?

To ring in the announcement, Juice let loose the sinister-sounding new track called “Trap” with guest spots from Gucci Mane and Peewee Longway. Produced by Lex Luger and TM88, the cut’s about as dark as things can get as Guwop and Juicy J take turns describing just how cold-hearted they can be when it comes to put profits and survival above all things. The Taylor Gang lieutenant rattles off lines on how he “Ain’t been the sleep in the longest, I sip that drank like it’s coffee,” while Gucci brags about murdering off his foes and paying for their funeral expenses like it’s a tax-writeoff. Sure, it’s art imitating life but it makes for great imagery.
