Remember when Meek Mill deleted his Instagram account, amid all the scrutiny and online hate that seems to follow him endlessly and unnecessarily? Well it’s back, and that’s exactly where Meek used his Twitter Fingers to announce the impending release of his much-anticipated fourth installment of his Dreamchasers mixtape series DC4.
Oh, and it’s dropping tomorrow, October 28th. This was so major he ever returned to Twitter.
The tracklist for the mixtape has been floating around for some time now, and though it has yet to be confirmed, it’s popped up on mixtape websites as well. If they’re accurate, DC4 will feature appearances from the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Tory Lanez, Quavo, French Montana, 21 Savage, YFN Lucci, noted Drake foe Pusha T, the late Lil Snupe and of course Nicki Minaj.
While it’s a star-studded affair, the pressure will be on Meek and Meek alone to deliver something of substance and signify a true recovery from his clash with Drake last summer. The snippets he delivered a few weeks back sound promising, but his music is always well received in small doses. Time will tell if he’s truly moved on from the feud with Drake and he’s ready to begin the next stage of his career. Thankfully we only have a day left until we finally find out.
