I’m interrupting today’s posting for a brief announcement. Just like the idiot I am, I knocked my external hard drive off of my desk yesterday afternoon, which was not that big a deal until I tried to boot it up this morning and it would not. It’s notable because all of the character cutouts that I use for the images that you enjoy here every day are on that hard drive. And now all of our favorites such as Snowflake The Duck Dog, Frat Cat, Gay Ufford, Coach Dog, and Asian Man In Chair may, seriously, never be recovered. Oh sure, I suppose I could find all of those images online again and cut them out again, but that takes time. Time that I could have spent entertaining you.
So I’m running to Micro Center for some expertise and equipment that I expect will do the job (we’ll still have regular posts going up in the meantime, since we have 5,000 people writing for the site now). I’m asking for your thoughts and prayers as we try to recover those characters that we all love so dearly. Thank you.
