Ohio State Beat Michigan In Double OT Thanks To This Touchdown Run By Curtis Samuel

Ohio State vs. Michigan was as great as everyone expected. The Buckeyes ended up winning in double overtime, 30-27, thanks to this touchdown run by Curtis Samuel. It was a back-and-forth contest, and the exact kind of game that you would expect out of these two rivals.

With the win, Ohio State is in a position to move on to the Big Ten title game should Michigan State beat Penn State. If the Nittany Lions win, though, the Buckeyes will not get the chance to play for the conference title. The good news for Ohio State is that the committee seems like it’s high on the team regardless of whether it wins the Big Ten – the Buckeyes came into this game ranked No. 2 in the nation and will end the regular season with an 11-1 record.

Meanwhile, in Happy Valley, Penn State learned about the Buckeye win and celebrated exactly the way that you’d expect.

The Nittany Lions aren’t guaranteed to make it, but Ohio State helped them out big time on Saturday. But we still have plenty of time to decide who will meet Wisconsin for the conference title next week. For now, there’s a big ol’ party happening in Columbus, because the Buckeyes were able to take care of business against the Wolverines.
