Below is a three-minute featurette on Starz’s forthcoming “Camelot,” which will premiere in April along with HBO’s fantasy swordfest “Game of Thrones.” It stars newcomers Jamie Campbell Bower (Twilight films, ugh) and Tamsin Egerton as Arthur and Guinivere, plus Claire Forlani and Eva Green (above). I also hear that Joseph Fiennes edged out Wizard Dog for the role of Merlin.
Anyway, this was supposed to be a “modern retelling” of Camelot, and that’s what the cast and creator insist it is, even though everyone’s wearing leather armor and fighting with swords. And sure, you may have seen the dozens of ways this story has been told — from the Broadway musical to the Disney cartoon to recent crappy movies — but everyone in this video assures you that this is Camelot THE WAY YOU’VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE!!!!
Do they mean it has tits? I hope they mean it has tits. That’s the only way I’ve never seen it.
