Parents Television Council Has Bug Up Butt about ‘Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23’

Despite ABC’s efforts to slip the B word past America’s prudes, the conservative advocacy group Parents Television Council has come down hard on the new sitcom, “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23.

According to the PTC, “the program is a sexist mixed-bag of hedonism, drug-use, alcohol abuse (including the main character plying a 13-year-old boy with alcohol to get him drunk) and explicit levels of promiscuity that are shocking even by today’s broadcast TV standards.”

Wow! The creators of “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23” should probably send the PTC a thank you card, as that blurb is now officially the show’s biggest selling point after The Beek. In fact, henceforth, all marketing materials for “Don’t Trust the B—-” should contain the phrase “explicit levels of promiscuity that are shocking by even today’s broadcast TV standards.” That should be good for a least an increase of half a rating point.
