We’re limited each day to a certain number of posts due to time, resources, and space, so we don’t always get to post some of the cool stuff that readers send us. But that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate tips, or that we don’t sit at our computers and gush over some of the stuff we’re sent. A guy who lives near where Breaking Bad is filmed, for instance, sent us a long email about what’s going on, and as soon as I can figure it out, I’m going to turn that into an epic post just because it’s cool. We love the Breaking Bad theories, the Alison Brie GIFs, and the various connections you guys find. For instance, every website has covered the hell out of all the now famous people who were once on Seinfeld, but I don’t think anyone picked up on the screenshot above, which came from Jacob. UNSER! As a cab driver, no less.
Likewise, Chris sent over this phenomenal YouTube clip from a British game show where Charles Dance — who plays Tywin Lannister on Game of Thrones — reads from 50 Shades of Gray. HILARIOUS.
Former Orioles manager Earl Weaver died over the weekend. My fondest memories of Weaver were playing Earl Weaver baseball on a computer way back in the day before fantasy sports really took off: You could draft an entire league with your friends and simulate the entire season on a Saturday afternoon. It was a blast. Anyway, this was more likely meant for the sports guys, but I love this clip that Morgan sent of Weaver going on a profanity-fueled tirade. It is AMAZING. And yes, that IS Earl Weaver, although the clip was a staged prank.
A few weeks ago a reader, Oscar sent us this foreign language commercial starring Vica Kerekes, with the message: “Move over Christina Hendricks,” a very appropriate message if you watch the video. JESUS.
Finally, this didn’t actually come from a reader, but if we didn’t post it, one of you guys probably would’ve sent it to us. It’s a picture from Dean Norris’ (Hank from Breaking Bad) Twitter of a reunion between Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek: “Hank in the Middle.”
