Is Lindsay Lohan Going To Host The ‘SNL’ Season Premiere?

SNL returns to entertain and infuriate for a 39th year on September 28th (the day before DVR apocalypse), without Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, and Jason Sudeikis, but with newcomers John Milhiser, Noël Wells, Kyle Mooney, and Beck Bennett. With such a large cast turnover, there’s a lot of uncertainty over what to expect this season (especially when Seth Meyers departs), including which famous person with something to promote will host the premiere.

September 28th is, of course, the night before the final episode of Breaking Bad, so considering you’ll be drinking whiskey that weekend anyway, it’d be nice to pay respect to the life and times of Jesse Pinkman while watching Aaron Paul yuk it up with Kate McKinnon. Other possibilities: Miley Cyrus (new album), Scarlett Johansson (for Don Jon), George Clooney (pre-Gravity blowing our minds), and, according to Radar, Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan’s post-rehab appearance as the host of Chelsea Lately was such a resounding success that RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she has been asked to host the season opener of SNL.

The troubled 27-year-old has cleaned up her image and reputation following her 90-day court-ordered rehab and a source close to her confirmed the news about her next potential gig.

Saturday Night Live has approached Lindsay to host the show again, and they were talking about the season opener,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. (Via)

Lohan’s last appearance, in March of last year, was thoroughly unremarkable — few screenshots capture a mood as well as this one does. But producers will keep giving her a shot to make her comeback, even if her stop-and-start comeback trail looks like it was designed by Stevie Wonder. On the plus side: the gig could go to Miley…

COME ON LINDSAY YOU CAN DO IT.
