You Can Win A Trip To The Set Of ‘Parks And Recreation’ And Lunch With Nick Offerman

There are currently 18 items and packages currently up for auction at Charitybuzz that are benefiting the Sandy Hook Promise, which is an organization that honors and advocates for the victims of that terrible tragedy that took place almost one year ago. Not that it’s a competition, because it’s clearly for a good cause, but the package that currently has the second highest bid on it involves one of UPROXX’s most favorite shows and also one of our most favorite actors.

With a bid of $1,800 – it jumped $750 in the 10 minutes I just had the window open – some lucky Parks and Recreation fan is not only going to get a trip for four people to visit the set of NBC’s best comedy, but they’ll also get to have lunch with Nick Offerman. Obviously, I should be selling a kidney to afford this right now, but the fine print just isn’t in my favor (bold emphasis mine)…

Winning bidder must sign NBCU’s “Set Visit” Release form before traveling to the set and follow all instructions given by the Producers and NBCU. Guests must sign a non-disclosure agreement. No photography is allowed. Cannot be resold or re-auctioned. Cannot be transferred. Based upon availability. To be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon date. Travel and accommodations are not included. We expect all winning bidders and their guests to conduct themselves appropriately when attending an experience won at Charitybuzz. Polite manners and respect for the generous donor and adherence to any rules or parameters are a must.

Is screaming like a teenage girl at a One Direction concert considered appropriate? Because that’s how I’d picture myself behaving around Offerman and on the set of Parks and Rec.

Oh, and the item with the most bids right now?

I’d watch Dads if it meant winning that guitar.
