Just in time for Mother’s Day, Jimmy Kimmel Live went around asking random mothers on the street what the most shocking thing is that their kids don’t know about them — because mothers are people too, dammit. My mom confided in me one time that apparently my dad used to smoke pot — which, welcome to being a 20-something in the 70’s, I guess — but other than that I’ve never stopped to consider the horrifying treasure trove of things out there that I don’t know about my parents.
Well, better these people’s kids than me, I guess. That’s all I have to say.
