What’s On Tonight: The Stanley Cup Finals, Dancing, And Tom Cruise

So You Think You Can Dance (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) – Tonight’s guest judges include Jenna Elfman and a ballet dancer named Fabrice Calmels, which I originally read as “Fabrice Camels” and was so excited about it that I almost fell out of my chair. Fabrice Camels. Fabrice Camels.

Stanley Cup Finals: New York Rangers at Los Angeles Kings (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) – The picture at the top of this page is Tom Cruise with the mascot for the Los Angeles Kings. I have included it in this post because (a) the Kings are in the Finals, and (b) Tom Cruise is a guest on The Tonight Show on NBC later in the night. Also, I like looking through Tom Cruise’s Getty archive. It’s hilarious. Like half of the pictures are him posing for shots with excited fans and/or exiting a helicopter while wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses. He is always Tom Cruise, 100%.

CMT Music Awards (CMT, 8:00 p.m.) – Book Proposal: I watch each of the 50000000000 country music award shows that come on television during the year and document how it changes me.

The 100 (CW, 9:00 p.m.) – Part one of the two-part season finale. According to TV Guide “Clarke and Finn face a new enemy. Meanwhile, Bellamy saves Jasper.” Yes, but how is Fabrice Camels involved?

Motive (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) – Tony Almeida from 24 guest stars as a yacht owner. The end.

Jennifer Falls (TV Land, 10:30 p.m.) – Series premiere. Jaime Pressly plays an investment banker and single mom who loses her job and has to move in with her mother (Jessica Walter) and work at her brother’s sports bar. Please God let “Jennifer Falls” be her character’s actual name, and not just the name of the show. I don’t ask for much.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Tom Cruise and Kendall and Kylie Jenner are on Fallon (not, like, together, probably), with Chrissie Hynde sitting in with the Roots; Demi Lovato and Dan Bakkedahl are on Meyers; Anderson Cooper, jockey Victor Espinozo, and The Afghan Whigs are on Letterman; Susan Sarandon and Garrison Keillor are on Ferguson; Egyptian activist Gigi Ibrahim is on Stewart; Jonah Hill is on Colbert; and Emily Blunt and Brent Morin are on Conan.
