This is a good teaching moment for ABC’s Lara Spencer, who made things really awkward for Melanie Griffith and her daughter Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson. While on the Oscars red carpet, Spencer kept trying to ask Griffith if she saw her daughter’s BDSM romp while Johnson tried to invent a safe word to get out of the conversation. Griffith insisted that she had a great imagination when it came to her daughter’s kinky sex scenes, but Spencer — roving reporter that she is — kept pushing the issue.
