Bruce Campbell Will Play Ronald Reagan In ‘Fargo’ Season 2

Hail to the Chief, baby. Evil Dead‘s Bruce Campbell has landed the role of Ronald Reagan in Fargo‘s second season, according to TVLine. In the episode, Reagan will stop by Fargo while campaigning for the presidency in 1979.

Campbell has some experience impersonating a legend, thanks to Bubba Ho-Tep, where he played Elvis, though there’s no word on if Campbell is going to be asked to mimic Reagan, or if this will be played a bit looser. Past on-screen Reagans have been all-over-the-mat, from James Brolin in a TV mini-series to Nick Kroll in Drunk History to Phil Hartman in the “President Reagan: Mastermind” sketch on Saturday Night Live, and of course, Dave Coulier on China, IL.

As you’ve surely heard, Campbell is also going to reprise the role of Ash in the Evil Dead TV show for Starz, so 2015 will clearly be one groovy year for the man with the golden chin.
