This weekend marks the season finale of The Walking Dead. Having now spent the last 5 years with Rick and the gang, there’s no denying that while often dramatic, the show usually lacks in some much needed levity. Rarely are there smiles or jokes. This is of course why the above mash-up is so hilarious.
Everything The Walking Dead lacks when it comes to its zombieness, Zomebieland makes up for in spades. The film is full of the levity and humor that the AMC drama lacks on a nearly weekly basis, and to prove it, when you mix the tone of the film’s trailer with various pieces of footage from the series, it even makes The Walking Dead seem like a fun place to be.
