Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Is Bringing An Inner-City ‘South Park’ To FX

Sean “Diddy” Combs is executive producing a new animated project for FX called Brightmoor. According to Deadline, the series is being described as South Park set in inner-city Detroit:

Created and written by King Of The Hill alum Chip Hall and rising Detroit comedian Chris Powell aka Comedian CP, Brightmoor is described as South Park set in inner-city Detroit. It revolves around the African American pupils at Brightmoor Elementary.

FX has been looking for another animated hit show to accompany it’s highly successful Archer series. Their previous attempts include the cartoons Unsupervised and Chozen, but they didn’t last too long. Maybe Diddy can do for FX what the others couldn’t.
