This is a video of a guy interrupting a live news report about a police standoff in Seattle. He pantomimes reporting and dances and all-in-all just throws a wrench in the entire operation with his goofball smile and awkward flailing limbs. While maybe — maybe — a standoff between civilians and a militarized police force might not be the best time to insert this particular brand of media criticism into the discourse, you still kind of have to respect his chutzpah. Like, he really thought, “You know what? I’m gonna wiggle my way between that camera and the police as my city teeters in chaos, and then I’m gonna do my dance. People love my dance. This is a good idea. This is a very good idea.” And then, he did it. God bless the yahoos of the world.
