Let’s face it, for the first few seasons of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow sucked. He was mopey, uninteresting, and dude walked around with a scowl on his face despite owning a direwolf. Hanging around with Ygritte — a kissed-by-fire shot of energy to the scenes set Beyond the Wall — only highlighted his issues as a character. Then, in a sick twist of fate, she died and he became compelling, especially in season five, when he was the best thing about the show.
Now he’s dead, too (MAYBE), and YouTuber Emri put together a proper tribute… FOR (you to) THE WATCH. It tracks the adventures of that know-nothing from the first time we saw him, teaching Bran archery with Robb, to the last, as his blood seeps into the snow. It’s perfectly Game of Thrones: hey, did you just start liking this character who could be sitting on the Iron Throne?
