Khloe Kardashian Issues A Humorless Response To Amy Schumer’s ‘SNL’ Monologue Joke

Well, it looks like her figure isn’t the only thin part of Khloe Kardashian. After Amy Schumer zinged the Kardashians in her monologue on Saturday Night Live this past weekend, at least one of the famous family members expressed some public discontent with the joke about how they’re bad role models. Khloe was mentioned by name, with her recent weight loss as the driving point of the joke:

“We have to be a role model for these little girls because who do they have? All they have, literally, is the Kardashians,” she said. “And is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women that take the faces they were born with as a light suggestion? Is that great? No. …

“We used to have Khloe. Khloe was ours, right? Whenever there’s a group of women, you identify with one of them. Khloe, she lost half her body weight — she lost a Kendall. We have nothing, and I want good role models!”

So, even though Schumer was complimenting Khloe — albeit a little backhandedly — Khloe issued a tweet that didn’t mention Schumer by name, but was clearly meant as a response to the jab:

Which was followed by another body-positive/sisterhood/kumbaya tweet before she got back to posting pics of her workout, which is not at all an insecure thing to do:

For her part, Schumer also “responded” to the “response” without naming names and supporting body positivity:

But when will the Kardashians learn how to take a joke? Are they that un-self-aware? Young people, fill an old lady in!
