Yesterday, we told you about the overanxious Walking Dead fan who took a bite out of Norman Reedus at Walker Stalker Con in New Jersey. That’s how New Jerseyans say “hello” to each other — it’s like Hawaiians and “aloha.”

The wannabe-walker later explained the encounter on Instagram, writing that she got “so excited standing beside him… and just turned my head and bit him! I don’t know what came over me. It wasn’t my intention to hurt him. I’m sorry, Norman!” She said nothing about Michael Rooker, who was standing nearby and reportedly yelled, “What the f*ck was that?” (That was also his reaction after reading the script for Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.)

Reedus, who isn’t pressing charges, responded on Instagram:

A middle finger would have worked, too. But Reedus realizes he’s on a television show about zombies, and sometimes people (with his name on their shirts) are going to confuse fact with fiction. Besides, I bet this same thing happens all the time to Reedus’ The Boondock Saints co-star Sean Patrick Flannery. Except the biters always end up wondering why he tastes like whisky.
