Let This 90-Year-Old Burlesque Dancer On ‘America’s Got Talent’ Give You Brand-New #LifeGoals

Man, has America’s Got Talent been bringing it this season or what? Between a legitimately funny 13-year-old girl comedian, that 82-year-old former Navy pilot and karaoke superstar, and taped mouth guy, the show has really been excelling at digging up America’s, uh, unique talents.

But perhaps no act on America’s Got Talent this season (or possibly ever) will be as memorable as Miss Dorothy Williams, who appeared on Tuesday night’s episode. Williams, who is 90 years young, says before her performance, “When I get on that stage, I want to prove that you’re never too old to follow your dreams.”

And what are Dorothy’s dreams, you ask? When asked what she’s planning to do for them, the nonagenarian tells Simon Cowell, “Well, I’m going to dance.” And by dance she means dance. Like, sexy, old timey burlesque dancing. Williams stripped down to her skivvies for the incredulous judges, who damn near lost it when she got the tassels going in full effect.

For her efforts, she got glowing reviews across the table, with even Cowell remarking that he found her “fascinating” and agreeing that there’s an audience for her particular skill set. And despite the fact that all four of the golden buzzers — which takes a contestant straight to the finals — had already been handed out for the season, Nick Cannon made the executive decision to add a surprise fifth buzzer just for Dorothy.

You go, old girl. Let us all hope to be so full of life and energy if and when we’re lucky enough to see her age.
