Celebrate The ‘Band Of Brothers’ 15th Anniversary With This Stunning Tribute

HBO’s Band of Brothers debuted on September 9th, 2001, mere days before the World Trade Center fell in the worst terrorist attack the United States has ever suffered through.

In the fallout, U.S. citizens rallied together with the most fervor since the greatest generation took up arms after Pearl Harbor. At the time, that’s partially what made Band of Brothers so special. This bloody, brutal celebration of the heroes of Easy Company, these men who made up the forces that would retake the world from evil’s grasp reminded the country that bravery is something that only comes when you’re truly in the grip of fear.

It’s a classic show. And despite its violence and gut-wrenching scenes, it’s one that can be watched over and over again. This is thanks to the brilliant performances by Damian Lewis, Ron Livingston and the utterly astounding cast that Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and HBO put together. How can you deny a cast that includes appearances from Jimmy Fallon, Simon Pegg, Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, and Donnie Wahlberg?

The miniseries would go down in history based on quality alone, but it lives on with its superlative cast, impeccable special effects, and perfect script. It’s a modern classic. One that should be celebrated on its 15th anniversary with this tribute by Garo Studios.

Then, it’s time to marathon the entire series (again).
