The Only Good Thing About The Final Season Of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ Is Coming To ‘Fargo’

Since being the best reason to watch the disappointing final season of How I Met Your Mother, only to be taken away from us and Ted (not that he minded), Cristin Milioti has starred in NBC’s A to Z, which was quickly canceled, and filmed a guest appearance on The Mindy Project. She’s an absolute delight, however, and only deserves the best, which is why I’m happy to report that she’ll have a substantial part in UPROXX’s favorite show of 2014, Fargo.

How I Met Your Mother alumna Cristin Milioti is set for a role opposite Patrick Wilson and Ted Danson in the second installment of the Fargo miniseries franchise. The 10-episode new chapter is set in 1979 in Sioux Falls, SD and Luverne, MN, where a young State Police Officer Lou Solverson (Wilson), recently back from Vietnam, will tackle an all new “true crime” case. Milioti will recur as Betsy, Lou’s (Wilson) wife and the daughter of Rock County Sheriff Hank Larsson (Danson). A woman of the plains — pretty but firm — she can both jump start a car and make a casserole, clean a gun as well as the gutters. (Via)

If only there was a GIF to depict my reaction to this news.

No, that’s not it.

There it is.
