FX Debuts The First Footage From ‘Legion’ Season 2 In A 2018 Network Promo

It’s easy to get distracted FX’s “Fearless in 2018” promo. There are clips from at least one and likely many of your favorite shows: The Americans and Atlanta (both return in March), acclaimed comedies Baskets and Better Things, American Crime Story, and even shows that don’t begin with an “A” or “B.”

Like Legion!

FX debuted new footage from Noah Hawley’s X-Men-adjacent series, which returns soon after what feels like a multi-year break, in the sizzle reel above. If you’ll recall, the last time we saw telekinetic mutant David Haller (played by Dan Stevens), he was being sucked into an orb thing, while Jemaine Clement and Aubrey Plaza, as Oliver Bird and the Shadow King, drove off for the best road trip ever. The brief teases of season two we get are Cary (Bill Irwin) telling Kerry (Amber Midthunder) to open her mind, and David wanting “to be normal. Any of this look normal to you?” Things aren’t all bad for David, though. He’s reunited with Syd (Rachel Keller) and Ptonomy (Jeremie Harris).

Things aren’t bad for us, the viewer, either, because it looks like we’re getting a new dance number from Clement and Plaza. All I can say to that is: yes.

In related “yes” news, here’s Trust‘s Brendan Fraser in a cowboy hat.
