The ‘Preacher’ Pilot Is Now On YouTube Commercial-Free, So What Are You Waiting For?

The new AMC series Preacher premiered on Sunday, May 22 after the mid-season finale of Fear the Walking Dead. Based on the celebrated comic book by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, the new show was adapted by — of all people — friends and collaborators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who’ve been fans of the comics since it debuted in the ’90s. Despite intense competition from Game of Thrones and the NBA Finals, the pilot scored some promising numbers in the ratings department, but that hasn’t stopped AMC from promoting the show at every turn.

Which is why the cable channel’s official YouTube channel just made the entire 65-minute first episode available for any and all comers to watch. Hell, the free video doesn’t even include any commercials — either edited into the video itself, or placed sporadically by YouTube’s advertising algorithm. (You know the annoying little yellow bars I’m talking about.) So what are you waiting for?

If you caught the Preacher premiere on May 22, go watch it again! If you watched one of its encore presentations on May 29, go watch it again. And if you haven’t managed to catch the episode in its entirety on AMC’s own website, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and watch it. Right now. Only then will you know what lies ahead for the titular preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), his ex-girlfriend Tulip O’Hare (Ruth Negga), and the devilish Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).
