That Pesky ‘Game Of Thrones’ Theory About Sansa Has Been Shut Down For Good

Hasn’t Sansa Stark suffered enough? Both her parents and two of her brothers are dead; she was forced into relationships with Joffrey, Tyrion, and Ramsey; and she was embroiled in one of the biggest controversies on Game of Thrones. Plus, there’s that whole pesky “she’s pregnant” fan theory, based on Ramsay telling her in the season six finale, “You can’t kill me. I’m part of you now,” before she fed him to his hungry, hungry hounds. Good stuff.

Ser Davos himself, Liam Cunningham, shot down the rumor, saying, “Unless [Ramsay’s] got one of those Game of Thrones pregnancy sticks, he’s not gonna know. I would imagine it’s open to whatever you want it to be, but I think he’s saying he’s put himself into her head. That’s what I took from it. She’s never gonna get rid of him because of what he’s done to her. He knows what he’s done to her… I think he’s placed himself in her soul for all the wrong reasons.” But the Onion Knight would be cagey like that (also, Game of Thrones pregnancy sticks should be real — three dragons means you’re expecting!) Watchers on the Wall, however, confirmed Cunningham’s suspicion.

Last of all, I am enormously happy to report that Watchers on the Wall can put a certain “theory” to bed. If any in our readership believed a certain insistent rumor, the following may be a relief to hear: Sansa will NOT be (or get) pregnant in season seven. (Via)

So, Sansa isn’t carrying the offspring of an actual monster. That’s the good news. The bad news? Something else terrible will probably happen to her.
