What’s On Tonight: Louis C.K. Says ‘F*ck You’ To David Letterman

How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8 p.m.) — The mother reveals how she met Ted, before she became the Mama Eastside to his Teddy Westside, and what she’s been up to over the past eight years.

Hollywood Game Night (NBC, 8 p.m.) — Two episodes again, with Cobie Smulders, Taran Killam, Henry Winkler, Angie Harmon, and Mayim Bialik at 8 and Nate Berkus, Erika Christensen, Michelle Trachtenberg, Mel B., Padma Lakshmi and Michael Weatherly at 9. I bet Michelle and Padma don’t talk when the cameras aren’t rolling.

The Following (Fox, 9 p.m.) — Joe Carroll looks like Les Misérables Hugh Jackman via “what, me worry?”

Archer (FX, 10 p.m.) — Pam makes a deal with the Yakuza, but more importantly, reads a breathless episode description, “Archer dons his slightly darker black suit.” I love Archer Vice.

The Blacklist (NBC, 10 p.m.) — “Red informs Liz that an illegal adoption agency is responsible for recent abductions; Liz and Tom contemplate adoption,” which does not seem like a good idea, considering the abductions.

Rick and Morty (Adult Swim, 10:30 p.m.) — Rick gives Morty a love potion.

LATE-NIGHT GUESTS: Louis C.K. and Arctic Monkeys on Letterman; Dana Carvey and Magic Johnson on Leno; Chris O’Donnell on Kimmel; Johnny Knoxville and Barry Gibb on Fallon; Bill Hader on Conan; Jeff Garlin on Stewart; and Nate Silver on Colbert.
