Lonzo Ball Will Make His Rap Debut At A Concert In Lithuania Next Summer

As ex-pat siblings LaMelo and LiAngelo continue to light up the Big Baller Brand Challenge circuit in Lithuania, Lonzo Ball remains back home on his postage stamp of native soil, sidelined with a knee sprain that has kept him out of the Lakers’ lineup for the past six games, including Friday night’s match-up against the Bulls in Chicago.

With all that free time on his hands, Lonzo has apparently been prepping for his offseason foray into the hip hop industry. At a recent appearance at the M.A.M.A Awards – the Lithuania equivalent of the Grammys – Ball family patriarch LaVar aired a pre-taped video of his son Lonzo announcing that he would make his rap debut at a concert in Lithuania next summer (h/t TMZ Sports).

Even before he released his first two singles via YouTube last fall, “Zo” was already halfway to becoming a notorious hip-hop upstart by starting a beef with Nas. Now the fledgling rapper will have to prove he has bars on a big international stage.

In the meantime, he’ll need to keep rehabbing if he wants to make another high-profile appearance at All-Star Weekend at the Rising Stars Game and, more important, rejoin return to action for the Lakers in the second half of the season.
