If Tyler Johnson had completed this dunk, if he had slammed the ball down on Enes Kanter’s body and soul and entire being, Kanter would have ceased to exist. There would be no record of Kanter ever having been born, no record of his tumultuous freshman year at the University of Kentucky, no videos of his mic drop, nothing. He simply would have ceased to be – wiped from existence totally and completely.
Fortunately for Kanter, Johnson did not complete the dunk, but you can see by the fear in his eyes that he knew what would have happened had the ball gone through the hoop.
