With Joel Embiid out because of a back injury, it’s up to Andrew Wiggins to lead Kansas… and he’s doing it. The freshman swingman now has 71 points in his last two games after dropping 30 last night in a 77-70 overtime win over Oklahoma State in the Big 12 quarterfinals.
The potential No. 1 pick in this summer’s draft–a distinct possibility now with Embiid’s injury woes–laced jumper after jumper, showing off improved range and ballhandling. He also did what he does best. Wiggins caught a lob in the second half that has to be one of the best plays we’ve seen all year.
Is he the No. 1 pick in the draft again?
