The glorious invention above is called “Steampunk Time Machine Antique Master Bathroom Computer Workstation”, which is mostly true. Bruce Rosenbaum and Walter Parker built this desk for Steampunk: Form and Function: An Exhibition of Innovation, Invention and Gadgetry, an art exhibit starting this Sunday at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham, Massachusetts. More steampunk designs from the exhibit can be viewed over at WIRED.

Unfortunately, it isn’t hooked up to a septic system and the internet (two very similar things) at the moment, but, since they built it with usable antique plumbing fixtures, it probably could be. I know one guy who’s excited about this:
