Hamilton was arrested on December 10 after he caused a disturbance at several bars in the Cleveland area. Police needed to use force to gain control of him, and this is when he is said to have struck and officer in the face. Hamilton was charged with assault, and judge set his bail at $25,000. Assault of a police officer is a felony charge.
