Dwayne Johnson flexes his mighty muscles in first ‘Hercules’ trailer

No one can strike a muscly pose — or unleash a mighty yell — quite like The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson is “Hercules,” and the film's first trailer shows the superstar in fine form.

It looks like the film — the second Hercules movie of 2014 — focuses on the half-god/half-man as he completes his 12 labors, which include fighting such giant mythological creatures as the Hydra, a huge lion, an even huger boar, and the three-headed hellhound Cerberus.

Johnson only gets one line in the trailer, but it's all you need to know.

The Paramount Pictures/MGM film is based on the comic book by Steve Moore Directed by Brett Ratner (“X-Men: The Last Stand,” “Tower Heist”), “Hercules” also stars Ian McShane, John Hurt, Rufus Sewell and Joseph Fiennes

Will Johnson next join modern mythology as a DC Comics superhero?

“Hercules” opens July 25.
