2 Chainz has been building buzz for his next full-length project Pretty Girls Like Trap Music going all the way back to January. Now, finally, the esteemed double necklace has revealed the release date for his highly anticipated fourth album, and he did so with an epic trailer shared to his official Instagram account.
Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is set to hit the Internet next month on June 16. There, I gave away the big piece of news, but you really owe it to yourself to watch the clip 2 Chainz shared up top. It’s cinematic to the point of grandiosity, and filled with a who’s who of super-star collaborators including Drake, who calls the artist formerly known as Tity Boi, “one of my favorite rappers of all time. I say that proudly. Just got the best songs.” In another scene you have Pharrell talking about chasing unicorns. There’s article excerpts, foreboding music, intense concert footage, private jets, and behind the scenes making-of vignettes.
Is it as engrossing as the clips 2 Chainz shared of that time he sat in on a Brazilian buttlift surgery? Okay, not quite. But the footage will more than get you amped to hear the latest work from one of the best in the game today.
