Last week, we gave 15 albums set to be released in 2013 that we’re most looking forward to (so much for Daft Punk…), but today, in lieu of a 5 Albums That Don’t Suck post (it’s the new Dropkick Murphys…and little else), we’re looking to the past, to highlight certain important musical milestones throughout the year. For instance, Nirvana’s In Utero, the popular — and accurate — pick for their best album, came out 20 years ago this September, and a giant secret reissue is already being put together.
Here are 19 other great albums that will commemorate their 50th, 40th, 30th, or 20th anniversary in 2013.
