While you were busy literally losing your sh*t to Gravity this weekend, Damon Albarn was chatting with Idris Elba and the Clash’s Paul Simonon on BBC Radio 2. Albarn was filling in for normal host Dermot O’Leary, and to celebrate the occasion, he debuted a Gorillaz song from the sessions for 2010’s Plastic Beach, “Whirlwind.” It’s an instrumental recorded with the Syrian National Orchestra that, well, winds itself up in knots.
