In defiance of everything we know about crass commercialization, The Lego Movie actually looks…pretty great. The cast is stacked with some of our favorite people (Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, and Cobie Smulders, among others) and it’s written and directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the team behind Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Clone High, and 21 Jump Street. One might even say that when it comes to The Lego Movie, everything is awesome, which wouldn’t you know it, is also the name of a loud, perky song Tegan and Sara and the Lonely Island recorded for the film.
Listen to the full thing here, and it can be heard in the trailer below.
