Well, Kanye and Taylor can hug all they want, but most people get more excited about drama than they do hugs and kisses. If MTV wanted drama for the VMAs, they got a little, courtesy of Nicki Minaj, who called out Miley Cyrus during her acceptance speech for Best Hip-Hop Video.
Once everyone picked their jaws up from the floor, Twitter came alive trying to determine whether the incident was real or fake. While the reactions seem to be split with many leaning toward fake, most people seemed to enjoy the momentary catfight as one of the show’s highlights up to that point.

Personally, I’m going with real. Nicki does date Meek Mill, so maybe his penchant for not mincing his words and being brutally honest gave her the gusto she needed to front Miley on live TV.
