John Stamos will star in the Tuesday night premiere of Fox’s Grandfathered, but he’s still working that Uncle Jesse vibe in preparation for Netflix’s Fuller House. In doing so, Stamos reunited with the Beach Boys at the L.A. County fair. Of course, you remember that time the Beach Boys appeared on Full House for a little “Kokomo” and “Barbara Ann.” The fair crowd remembered, too. According to TMZ, the set “brought the house down,” which is quite the feat for an outdoor setting.
Over the years, Stamos has been no stranger to joining the band onstage, but this is his first appearance with them since before his June DUI and rehab stint. Stamos looked healthy and full of vigor, and the band’s clever crew flashed images of Uncle Jesse in a hot tub during the set. Stamos even put on “a sick drum solo” to cap the evening’s events.
The ladies still shout, “Have mercy!” at the very mention of Stamos. He knows the drill, which is why he takes his pants off on Instagram. It’s no wonder that both Twitter and Instagram lit up with images and excited tweets to commemorate this special Stamos event.
