Wednesday marks the day when Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to the future in Back to the Future II. So, just in case you were wondering why your social media feeds are filled up with posts related to the film, now you know. Among all of those posts is this standout one, courtesy of Fox News.
Celebrating Back to the Future Day, Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade dressed up as McFly and took the driver’s side of the film’s iconic DeLorean, which was supposed to be opened up by Huey Lewis, who sang the title track for the first Back to the Future.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t go as planned. Lewis (who we think is not that bad!) attempts to open the door, but it remains shut, with fellow co-hosts Steve Doocy and Elisabeth Hasselbeck improvising until the door finally pops up. Talk about a rough morning for Kilmeade; not only did he get stuck in the DeLorean, but he also hit his head on the door, too. Plus, Lewis didn’t agree on how sexy Kilmeade looked, either. If only the host could go back in time to fix that one up. Check out the video above.
