Considering the later stages of his career have revolved around what important people he can get in the studio with him, it is amazing how open to beef The Game is. In a recent interview with Billboard, the rapper behind The Documentary 2 explained his dislike for all manner of people, including Young Thug and Donald Trump.
On his beef with Young Thug:
“If you had a friend and somebody was f—ing with your friend and you didn’t help, then are you really a friend?… I stepped in and said what I had to say in defense of a longtime friend.”
On Donald Trump‘s somehow still viable candidacy:
I never liked him. I’m not white, so I wouldn’t be proud of Trump… But I don’t think Donald Trump is going to win. If he wins the presidency, we are f—ed.
Game isn’t the first musician to speak out against Trump. In fact, it’s become somewhat of a national pastime for American musicians. But The Game is definitely the only one of those musicians who has President Obama’s face tattooed on his stomach.
The Game also explained why he gets into beef so often.
“Drunk me has beef with everybody.”
Well, that’s one way to sum everything up.
