This Guy Proposed To His Girlfriend At An Adele Concert And Sealed Their Love Forever

How big is Adele? So big that she just began an eight-show run at The O2 in London, the most significant music venue in the United Kingdom, and one of the biggest in the world. Adele shows are big events, and these shows are particularly massive, so, naturally, it’s the perfect place to propose to your girlfriend, especially if Adele is in on it.

As Adele performed her cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love,” she brought the couple on the stage. They described Adele’s cover as “their song,” and mentioned they’d been dating for 12 1/2 years. After the proposal, Adele said, “That was the most beautiful thing I’ve witnessed at one of my shows. I’m so happy for you, congratulations!” That’s high praise for the moment, and a nice thing for Adele to say. Of course, she’s had other couples propose at her shows, so this kind of throws some shade on them, accidentally or not.

While many of Adele’s biggest songs, such as “Hello,” are not exactly what you would call romantic, they are more songs about love gone wrong, at least this couple was able to find a romantic song from Adele to base their proposal around. Also, fortunately she said yes, although it would have really kicked off Adele’s O2 shows with a bang had she said no. Oh well. There’s always next time.
