I believe a large purple dinosaur once said, “I love you. You love me. I love it when you call me Big Poppa.” It went something like that, if I recall. Or at least that’s how it goes in the newest mashup by Adam Schleichkorn from Mylo the Cat. We’ve already seen another mashup of Barney the Dinosaur and Notorious B.I.G. in his version of “Get Money,” and now he’s bringing more dinosaur/B.I.G. crossover action, although we’ll admit perhaps nothing can recreate the magic of Earl Sinclair from Dinosaurs covering Biggie.

Barney the Dinosaur mashed up with the Notorious B.I.G. classic, “Big Poppa.” Featuring BJ as Puff Daddy, aka Diddy. This song has been on my list for a long time, and I just feel like Barney as Biggie totally fits. Not only is this one of the best rap songs of all time, but it comes from the best rap album of all time, Ready To Die… Cover to cover greatness!
Well, that’s certainly true, but — of all the pop culture figures to cast as the Notorious B.I.G. — why choose Barney the Dinosaur? Because throw your hands in the air; he’s a true player:
