Cam Newton used his deep voice for good Thursday morning when the Carolina quarterback did some impromptu karaoking at a radio show. To promote his upcoming charity kickball tournament, Newton paid a welcoming visit to Power 98’s No Limit Larry & The Morning Maddhouse radio show and played “Maddhouse Sing-A-Long” with host Ms. Jessica. Song of choice? Usher’s “Nice & Slow.”
Don’t worry, football fans. Cam probably won’t be quitting his day job to put out a smooth R&B album since his singing kind of sucks, but at least he tried! He added funny adlibs and even substituted Usher’s name for his own during the start of the singer’s raps. He also kicked a freestyle at the end to promote his charity kickball tourney this Friday. Can’t hate on that.
