Celebrities Are Coming Out In Droves To Encourage America To Vote

In just over a few hours we’ll hopefully know who the next President of the United States is going to be — either President Hillary Clinton or Fuhrer Donald Trump — but in the meantime celebrities have been posting on social media all day encouraging Americans to get out there and vote. Such as Patton Oswalt, who in the above video says that he wants people to get out to vote so badly that he’s willing to ask you to do it from an unflattering angle, moving the camera to the ever-dreaded below the chin shot.

Due to the nature of their jobs many actors and performers have to vote early or by absentee ballot, but the ones who voted at their local polls today were out in full force, and like many of your friends, family, and coworkers on social media, posted selfies of themselves happily beaming, showing off their “I voted” stickers. Everyone from Amy Schumer to Mindy Kaling, Lady Gaga, Seth Meyers, and Taylor Swift, as well as her mortal enemy (and ardent Clinton supporter) Katy Perry proudly represented on election day.

Below are a range of celebrity photos, starting with another from Oswalt with his adorable daughter Alice, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, who had the most appropriate attire for the day.
