The occupational hazards of being a celebrity now include having someone spread a rumor about you involving vagina-flicking. This is what happened to Demi Lovato. An online story first posted a few years by an anonymous fan claiming that the singer called her fat and then flicked her vagina during a meet and greet has come roaring back into the spotlight and the singer is pissed.
Does this sound too good to be true? The rumor went viral anyway. The Daily Mirror reports that during a promotional stop for Lovato’s new single, “Cool for the Summer,” a [real] fan asked her what the most ridiculous rumor she ever read about herself was. Lovato replied, “That I ‘flicked’ a girl’s vagina in a meet and greet.”
LOL. Here’s the whole story, as reprinted by the Daily Mirror:
“[Lovato] was rude, not classy and she lost a long time lovatic that day. I walked into the $350 M&G [meet and greet] and say hello she replies with ‘fat’ and I shook it off because I thought maybe I had heard her wrong. As I approached her and asked to do my pose she stared at me blank faced. I continued talking ‘you saved my life’ I say ‘you’re the reason I’m alive today.’ She looks me dead in the eye and says ‘you’ll die soon enough fatty’ and then whispered ‘obesity.’
“I started crying I had never felt pain like this and she started laughing and said ‘are you crying? Stop it. Stop it now’ and she flicked my vagina.
The story ends with the fan trying to walk away and Lovato apparently “speaking whale” to her. Soon after the story appeared, the anonymous fan released direct messages in which the singer apparently ordered her to “delete it fat.”
You know the most unbelievable part, though? That Demi Lovato fans are known as “lovatics.”
